At the International Salvation Council (ISC), our distinguished Executive Leadership Team, comprising seasoned professionals with extensive international experience, works hand in hand with our dynamic Board of Directors, a diverse group of visionaries committed to compassion and inclusivity. Together, they guide ISC’s mission to empower and serve migrants, refugees, and asylum seekers, ensuring compassionate, effective, and visionary leadership at every step of our journey.

Mr. Desire Luamba

Dr. Desire Luamba has been working in the business and financial industries for many years. He holds a Doctor of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance (DBA-Finance) from Walden University, a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance (MBA-Finance) from Strayer University, and a Bachelor of Science (BS-Statistics) from the Institut Superieur des Statistiques/ ISS-Lubumbashi/DRC (French-Program).

His professional experience includes using financial and statistical tools to make long- and short-term accounting, budgeting, and financial decisions. He advises businesses in analyzing costs, accounting issues, business problems, and financial statements. He also conducts audit work and develops business model plans based on innovation and diversification strategies. He taught finance, statistics, and accounting courses for many years. In addition, he published many articles that can be found in Google Scholar, Academia, and ORCID. He is a fan of teaching, doing research, and playing tennis. He completed much training in business management, statistics, leadership, and audit controls.

Dr. Joel Chagadama

Dr. Joel Chagadama is an accomplished and seasoned Chief Financial Officer with over a decade of experience. His experience lies in driving teams by developing and implementing strategic financial procedures and systems while establishing effective operational processes to drive business success and control costs. In addition, his expertise includes:

Spearheading financial and accounting management, including financial analyses, accounting, due diligence, strategic business planning, forecasting, reporting, budget analysis, and risk management to accelerate overall business success. Excelling in various executive-level financial leadership capacities for multiple companies, continually revamping and improving processes, staff, and internal systems to achieve dynamic results. Developing and instituting financial policies and procedures that improve cash flow and realize high-impact savings. His remarkable leadership and interpersonal skills help him communicate with upper management and team members. He is confident in delivering impeccable results through his dedication to handling multiple functions and activities under high-pressure environments & tight deadlines. Dr. Joel Chagadama holds a Doctor of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance (DBA-Finance) from Walden University and a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance (MBA-Finance) from Strayer University.

Mr. Sajit Kakshapati

Logistic Coordinator

Sajit Kakshapati is an experienced logistic and safety officer who has been working assisting refugees and migrants for many years. Mr. Sajit coordinates timely all pick-up, arrivals, and appointments to social services, courts, and hospitals. He is also a professional agent who prepares bills and invoices for housing and furniture to be paid in a timely manner. Receiving and coordinating the storage of all donations is also another challenge that Mr. Sajit always faces to meet our customer satisfaction.
